Put Off Procrastination; You Can Always Do It Later

PUT OFF PROCRASTINATION; YOU CAN ALWAYS DO IT LATER

Procrastination is probably something that many students are familiar with. Procrastination is the act of delaying or postponing something. In this case, students are delaying doing their school work. There are plenty of people who do their work, but some people are fond of putting their work off to the last minute.

“I procrastinate because I don’t like to do work for school and outside of school; it seems unreasonable,” says Senior Angel Zamora.

“I don’t like doing my work. I’m lazy,” Freshman Avery Gonzalez said.

With people delaying work so often, it makes one wonder what exactly gets people sidetracked.

Sophomore Mariam Kio says “My phone sidetracks me.”

“My friends talk to me during class, and that gets me distracted from my work,” Freshman Josh Cornell said.

Students don’t just put off work, they also put off their chores. ┬áSenior Miguel Arambula says, “I procrastinate more with my chores than I do with my homework.”

Whether you procrastinate doing your schoolwork or your chores, it is a habit that most people would like to kick- when they get around to it.
