The ARCH-2017 Senior Gift

In high school, it is customary that the senior class gifts some kind of school related present for the next generations of high schoolers to appreciate. Being a senior is a big deal, so the graduating class of 2017 decided to leave behind a huge arch that will stand tall in the student Demon parking lot in remembrance of their four wonderful years at Greenway.

One excelling senior by the name of Mark Mettes came up with the idea to build an arch. Ms. Turley is the senior coordinator who has done an excellent job putting the entire gift together. To make the gift even more sentimental, the Cortez high school welding class is going to be doing the construction on the green and gold piece. The 96×138 masterpiece will begin construction a few weeks after the class of 2017 graduates.
